I may wind up being a little late on this, but fuck it… this shit is bananananas!! In total honesty, when I heard that Only Built 4 Cuban Linx II was due out 9/8, I wasn’t all that excited because I felt it would be… wack. Yeah! I said it! Now, I know that sounds like blasphemy, especially from someone who was introduced to hip-hop through Rae and the Wu, but you had the same thoughts too — don’t front, admit it!!!
Thankfully, by the sights and sounds of the lead single “House Of Flying Daggers”, it seems like we’re in for quite a treat from the Chef. The song is wicked sick ((sorry, they say that shit here in Boston and it’s stuck in my head)) and I’m really loving the animation. It reminds me of a certain Black ninja cartoon, can you figure out what I’m eluding to? Watch closely…
